Shared Nature Areas
White Noise is a private jungle sanctuary, but the natural spaces surrounding the homes are shared. The Río Damitas, hiking trails, and mountain-top fire pit are available for guests and hosts to enjoy.
You may occasionally see or hear other guests exploring the property. Each home has its own private entrance and dedicated private spaces, allowing you to enjoy your stay with plenty of privacy.
Rural Costa Rica
White Noise is located in the small rural community of San Antonio de Damas, surrounded by rainforest and farmland.
You may occasionally hear everyday community sounds such as motorcycles, farm activity, vehicles, children playing, or daytime property maintenance. These sounds are part of the authentic rhythm of rural Costa Rican life and can vary from day to day.
If you’re looking for a polished resort environment where everything is controlled and predictable, White Noise may not be the right fit. If you’re looking to experience Costa Rica more naturally, that’s exactly what makes this place special.
Eco-Conscious Living
To protect the environment, we operate on sensitive septic system. Toilet paper is place in the provided bin rather than flushed.
As a rural jungle property, occasional power outages, heavy rains, or access delays may occur – especially during the green season. This is part of the natural rhythm of Costa Rica.
Community & Location
Located just 10-12 minutes from Route 34, the final stretch is a scenic dirt road leading into the rainforest, suitable for all vehicle types.
We are part of the small local community of Damas. Guests may occasionally hear everyday life — children playing, farm activity, vehicles, or local gatherings – adding to the authentic character of the area. We enjoy a generally peaceful setting, though you may occasionally hear routine neighborhood activity, such as property maintenance or other daytime work.

Do we have a private pool?
Yes. Pond House has its own private plunge pool available exclusively to you during your stay.
Can we access the river?
Yes. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Río Damitas and the shared natural areas of White Noise. River conditions vary with weather and season, so always use your judgment and follow any safety guidance provided during your stay.
Do we need a 4×4 to reach White Noise?
No. A 4×4 vehicle is not required to reach White Noise. The final approach includes a maintained rural dirt road into the rainforest, and road conditions can vary during periods of heavy rain.
How far is Pond House from Manuel Antonio?
Pond House is located in San Antonio de Damas, approximately 40 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park. Quepos and the Pacific Coast’s beaches, restaurants, and activities are also within reach.
Is there Wi-Fi and air conditioning?
Yes. Pond House has fiber optic high-speed Wi-Fi and air conditioning, along with an indoor and outdoor ceiling fan for additional comfort.
Can we cook at Pond House?
Yes. The kitchen includes a two-burner electric induction cooktop, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, toaster, cookware, dishes, glassware, cooking basics, coffee, tea, and refillable drinking water.
What is the minimum stay?
Pond House has a 3-night minimum stay and is especially well suited to stays of approximately 3–8 nights.

Absolutely. Guests can add experiences at Soulo Bath House, our riverside wellness space at White Noise. We recommend arranging experiences in advance when possible.
